    The Insurance Office (formerly Greg Johnston Insurance Services) was established by Greg Johnston in 1993 after 25 years in the banking industry. From a business that began in the spare room of his home, Greg’s reputation as an honest, reliable and efficient insurance representative saw the business grow over the years to become a highly successful brokerage servicing not only the Fleurieu community but also clients Australia-wide.
    Greg retired in 2019 but his legacy continues with the business now owned and operated by his son-in-law Craig and daughter Kathy, who both have more than 25 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Craig has been working with Greg in the business since 2006 and Kathy joined them full-time in 2012 when their children went off to school.

    Although the business has recently changed its name to The Insurance Office,nothing else has changed. We still offer the same, efficient and professional service and advice that our clients rely on to assist them in obtaining appropriate cover for their insurance needs.

    Craig has 25 years’ experience in various sectors of the insurance industry in both Broking and Underwriting, in different regions including Adelaide, Darwin, Mount Gambier, London, Cairns and Goolwa. Craig has been in his current role for the last 14 years specialising in Business Insurance across a variety of industries including Trades & Construction, Commercial Property Owners, Retail, Farming, Professional Risks & Transport and being dedicated to finding the right solution with peace of mind for his clients.

    Office Manager & Claims Specialist ANZIIF (Associate)

    Kathy has 25 years’ experience in various sectors of the insurance industry including Broking, Underwriting and Claims in different regions including Adelaide, Darwin, Mount Gambier, London, Cairns and Goolwa. Kathy specialises in making sure our valued clients receive their full entitlement at claim time, and are treated fairly and compassionately and kept fully informed during the process.
